Te Hā, the epic tree
Mataharehare-Taurarua is a tāonga of Tāmaki Makaurau.
This ancient Pā site and historic park is the home of New Zealand’s greatest urban Pōhutukawa, “Te Hā”.
It is very much part of the community and is also used, on special occasions, by Parkour practitioners.
Parkour is a training method for overcoming physical obstacles efficiently and effectively.
