I am a photographer, researcher, and lecturer.
My practice treats photography as an evolving, investigative process, combining fictionalism, archival research, and embodied methods to question dominant visual narratives.
Working between speculation and constraint, I use a cyclical, OuXPo-inspired methodology to reinterpret vernacular and archival imagery, questioning authorship and reimagining historical narratives.
Collaboration and collective authorship remain central to the work.
As a Tauiwi immigrant artist, I engage with Aotearoa's evolving history through non-hierarchical, dialogic practice, attentive to whose stories get told, and how.
