furniture design

Designing my own furniture is a very satisfying and creative endeavor.

I love the process of conceptualizing and crafting pieces that perfectly reflect my style and needs.

Each project allows me to experiment with different shapes, and functions, resulting in unique and personalized creations.

My ultimate goal is to replace all the furniture in my home with pieces I've designed myself.

This would not only make my living space a true reflection of my creativity but also provide a sense of accomplishment and connection to my surroundings.

My inspiration comes from Japanese architecture and my French roots.

Toolbox.

In my Paris flat, I lacked cupboards or storage space, so rather than settling for an ordinary toolbox, I designed a multifunctional one using recycled materials.

This toolbox not only holds my tools but also doubles as a stool or a small side table.

Stool.

What is this?

I do not know the name of this.

As a boy, I was lucky to have a couple of years of Japanese language and culture lessons at school.
I remember almost nothing about the language, but this is where my love for Japanese culture was born.

The purpose of this object is to hold a dish at the top and cutlery on the shelf below.

It vaguely resembles a Torii gate, I guess…
